Honghe University not only has a worldwide vision but also gives consideration and loving care to our native country. The university focuses on international and local networks, working together to build up each other¡¯s courses, student, and teacher resources, school conditions, and export-oriented teaching material resources. At present, HU has already established friendly cooperation with universities or organizations of many countries, such as the United States of America, Great Britain, Japan, Korea, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.
HU is involved in many value-adding projects, such as high-level personnel training, discipline construction, joint studies, and scientific research and development. HU is gradually forming prominent international exchange associations benefiting from academics, public welfare, and a variety of arts programs. HU has established sister school relationships with William Woods University of America, East Asia University and Payap University in Thailand, and regularly sends teachers and students abroad for further education, exchange, academic and cultural research. Meanwhile, we are also actively promoting Culture, Sports, and Art exchanges with international universities and organizations.

HU actively promotes international student education, recruiting students from different countries in the world, offering Chinese language acquisition, Chinese preparatory courses, and academic courses in different specialties. HU is working to strengthen educational cooperation with countries in Southeast Asia, having signed long-term agreements with universities and organizations in Vietnam, Thailand, and other countries. In recent years, HU has trained over one hundred international students, and has one of the largest international enrollments in Yunnan Province. |
